New Delhi: There is a forthcoming British psychological thriller miniseries called Eric, and it promises to display some terrifying and exciting perspectives all the way through until the conclusion. The principal part will be played by Oscar Nominee star actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
The critically acclaimed Netflix series Eric will make its debut on May 30. Written and directed by the Emmy and BAFTA-winning Abi Morgan, the thrilling drama is a creation of her imagination. In the 1980s, New York City was a wild, sleazy, and thrilling place, and the story follows a heartbroken father’s struggle with his inner demons as he searches for his missing child.

Plot
As Vincent uncovers more enigmatic details about the abduction of his 9-year-old son Edger, the narrative thickens. Good Day Sunshine, a beloved children’s TV program, was created by puppeteer Vincent. The blue monster puppet Eric promises to assist Vincent in discovering Edger if he becomes famous, and Vincent clings to him to avoid this fate.
Eric becomes Vincent’s lone ally in his mission to get Edger back, even though he receives backing from his coworkers, the police, and detectives for his efforts. The AIDS pandemic of the 1980s serves as the background for Vincent’s investigation into the mystery surrounding Edgar’s disappearance. As he investigates the case, he discovers unsettling facts about his city and himself.
