New Delhi: The team Kalki 2898 AD is all set for the grand release of their much-awaited movie. The audience is quite excited to watch stunning visual effects and the tale of a spiritual journey in the movie. Other than the theme and effects, viewers are also eagerly waiting to see mom-to-be Deepika Padukone as she will be seen performing the role of a pregnant woman in the film.
Meanwhile, veteran actor Kamal Haasan spoke about the career of his co-star Deepika’s unborn baby during a discussion among the team.
Kamal Hassan’s prediction about Deepika’s unborn baby
The cast held a discussion named The Kalki Chronicles in which actress Deepika described director Nag Ashwin’s unrestrained excitement for the movie. While describing, the Padmavat fame said that she was in Bombay and hadn’t talked with Nag Ashwin for a long time because of different shooting schedules.
She further said, “I hadn’t heard from him in a while. I saw this missed call from Nagi and I wondered what happened. He said, ‘I just called to tell you we shot our first day with Kamal sir.’ Like a child.”
At this moment actor Kamal interrupted while pointing towards the soon-to-be-mom’s baby bump and stated, “That’s what made this film. That child. We hope this child will also make a film someday.”
Besides Kamal and Deepika, superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Bahubali fame Prabhas were also seen in the video. All of them shared their experience while shooting and praised Nag Ashwin’s efforts. Prabhas also revealed that he is playing the character known as Bhairava in the movie. The actor also termed it as the best character of his career despite playing the lead role in one the most successful Indian cinema, ‘Baahubali’.

The movie Kalki 2898 AD is inspired by ancient scripts known as Kalki Puran and Mahabharat. Those Sanskrit texts were written by sage Agastya and Ved Vyas respectively.
In the movie, actor Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the role of Ashwasthama from Mahabharat. His character will be defending Sumathi played by Deepika Padukone from Bhairava. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani will also be seen playing major roles in the film.
