New Delhi: The Boyfriend, Japan’s first-ever same-sex romantic reality show, will soon be available on Netflix. With its heartfelt and calming story, this new series aims to fill the gap left by the beloved Terrace House.

The Boyfriend chronicles the month-long experiences of nine guys who share a seaside home. Working at a coffee truck will be a great way for individuals to meet new people, get experience, and discover more about themselves. Even while the main goal is to make connections and grow as individuals, romantic relationships are still possible if feelings go beyond friendship.

Plot

A group of men share a house and operate a coffee truck for a month in the hopes of connecting and, eventually, finding their soul mates.

The Green Room beach home, situated on the coast, serves as the romantic backdrop for nine guys. They establish strong bonds and gain self-awareness as they share a peppermint green coffee truck for a month and take turns working shifts. With a diverse cast that includes MEGUMI, Chiaki Horan, Yoshimi Tokui, Durian Lollobrigida, and Thelma Aoyama as hosts, the program is sure to take viewers on an emotional roller coaster.

Cast and Crew
