The NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assumed power at the Centre at a time when there was all policy paralysis, with the economy being in a bad shape. But PM Modi has been in action and worked relentlessly ever since he came to power. He put everything on the right track by dint of hard work and perseverance. There is no doubt that over the past three years the record of the Modi government in social sectors also has been positive overall.
As the NDA government led by PM Modi completes three years on May 26, it has many hits to its credit. The biggest focus has been on slew of welfare policies and projects which went a long way in ensuring betterment of lives of those living below poverty line (BPL).
Farmers and those living on the lowest rung of the economic activity were taken care of by the Modi government in real sense of term over the past three years. The results achieved by the government so far do suggest that the Modi government has been quite focussed on the pro-poor policies all through three years of NDA government at the Centre.
Crop insurance for farmers, Atal Pension Yojana for the unorganised sector, affordable health insurance coverage, and the Jan Aushadhi Yojana for retail sales of generic drugs, Ujjwala Yojana, rural electrification, Jan Dhan Yojana, are some of the key schemes that the Modi government executed with full dedication and perseverance. The result is before one and all. People from lower strata of the society are getting benefited by these schemes.
