Paris: US President Donald Trump has indicated that he can change his stand on Paris Climate accord.
Addressing a joint press conference after talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, he said something can happen regarding the climate change deal.
The US President has opened the door to a reversal of his decision barely six weeks after announcing that the United States will abandon the 2015 pact.
Nearly 200 countries signed Paris agreement in December 2015 in an effort to combat global warming and help poorer countries adapt to an already-changed planet.
Trump, whose country is the world’s second biggest producer of greenhouse gases after China, drew widespread criticism when he announced on June 1 that he will quit the pact. Mr Trump is on a visit to France for Bastille Day.
