Mumbai: Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has taken umbrage at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for ‘linking’ Bollywood to dynasty politics during his speech at University of California, Berkeley.

Rishi Kapoor posted a series of angry tweets as a reaction to Rahul Gandhi’s speech where he made reference to Bollywood while elaborating on “dynasty politics.”

Rahul Gandhi in an interaction with students at the University of California in Berkeley, said that India is run by dynasties and cited the examples of Samajwadi Party, DMK and even Bollywood and that people should not single him him.

“Dynastic politics is a problem in all political parties. Akhilesh (Yadav son of Mulayam Singh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party), (MK) Stalin (son of M Karunanidhi in DMK), Abhishek Bachchan – are all examples of dynastic legacy, also (Mukesh and Anil) Ambani (son of Dhirubhai Ambani), that’s how the entire country is running,” Rahul had said.
