New Delhi: In a shocking incident, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s iconic blue Wagon- R car was stolen on Thursday from outside the secretariat.

It was stolen at around 2 PM, said reports.

The Blue hatchback, which became synonymous with Kejriwal’s ‘aam aadmi’ image, was currently being used by an AAP functionary.

Police on Thursday received a complaint saying the Wagon R which the Chief Minister used to travel has been stolen.

“The car was parked outside the Delhi Secretariat. It went missing around 1 am,” a senior police official said.

The blue Wagon R made headlines when AAP chief used it for campaigning in 2014 assembly polls. It also got plenty of attention in the news when the Chief Minister used it to camp and sleep in during protest against the Delhi Police in 2014.

The car was donated to Kejriwal by Kundan Sharma, a software enginner, in January 2013.
