Lucknow is 6th most polluted city, air quality in ‘danger zone’

Lucknow: Pollution lavel today reached at dangerous mark in almost all major cities while state capital Lucknow was most polluted city in the country this evening.

As per central pollution control board’s report, pollution lavel in Lucknow was 484 AQI today evening which was highest in the country, making it difficult for people to breath in state capital.

If met department is to be believed, there is going to be no relief from the dense smog till November 17.

Many other cities were also in top ten polluted cities of the country. As per the report pollution lavel in Ghaziabad was 467AQI, in Noida it was 410 AQI, in Varanasi 400 AQI, and in kanpur it was 448 AQI, today evening.

Smog has taken a toll on rail trafic also as trains like Kashi Vishwanath express, Marudhar Express and Swatantrata Senani express are cancelled today.
