New Delhi: The USA-based car manufacturer Jeep launched its new flagship SUV — Jeep Grand Cherokee — in India on Thursday. Notably, this is the first SUV of the US car makers which is being assembled outside of North America. The buyers will get the car, assembled in the company’s India unit. The introductory price of the Grand Cherokee has been set for Rs 77.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Notably, the booking for the car is already available for an amount of Rs 50,000 on the official website of Jeep India.

Jeep Grand Cherokee features and engine detail
Jeep Grand Cherokee features a 10.1-inch screen on the front next to the steering, LED reflector headlights, LED foG lamps, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, capri leather seats with perforated inserts.
Moreover, the new 5-seater SUV by Jeep comes with auto folding mirrors, auto high beam headlamp, apple car play, and android auto, 9 speakers, Electronic parking brake.
For the safety of passengers, the car offers 8 airbags, a reverse parking camera with sensors, and a Speed controller.
As for as the engine details are concerned, the Grand Cherokee is only available in the market in 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol option. The engine generates 272hp of power and 400Nm of peak torque. The car comes with a four-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
