This may be your de-factor choice but you must look at some crucial aspects of the car before booking it.
Size & Variant:
MG Comet is small in size and look and may be a concern for car enthusiasts in first look. However, the company has sought to allay these fears by highlighting the BICO concept that it has adhered to. As per ‘Big Inside, Compact Outside’ (BICO), the car has space inside, enough for seating of upto four people. Though, not much information is available about carrying luggage but it would be enough for filling in two backpacks.
The smallest car in the EV segment will come in three variants — Pace, Play & Plush. While the lowest version will have introductory price at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom price), the top version would be priced at Rs 9.98 lakh.

The MG Comet comes with a medium-sized battery and claims to have a mileage of 230 km on single charging. In reality, however, you may get a mileage of 180-190 km.
If you are looking for fast charging, you will be disappointed as it has none such feature. The company’s reason for not facilitating with fast charging is that it would have added to costs & pricing.
You can fully charge your MG Comet in about 7 hours, using a standard 3.3 KW electric line. The EV will get charged upto 10%-80% in about 5 hours and upto 100% in 7-hours time.
