New Delhi: With the start of another new month in 2022, reports have started coming that 5 cars are expected to launch in October. In the market, there are four electric and CNG cars that will be revealed in the month of October. The first car on the list is Mahindra XUV300 Sportz which could launch on October 7.
BYD Atto 3, launch date October 11
Chinese car maker BYD will launch the upcoming Atto 3 EV SUV on October 11. The EV is expected to retain a 49.22kWh battery pack and a 60.48kWh battery pack as we saw in global variants. The base version will have a claimed range of 345 km while 420 km in the Standard and Extended Range versions.
Toyota Glanza CNG, launch by October end
Toyota Glanza CNG will be powered by the 1.2-litre engine, delivering an output of 77hp. The carmaker is promising a fuel efficiency of 25kpl with the CNG model. However, the EV will not be available in the market with the AMT facility.
Maruti Baleno CNG, launch date October
Maruti Baleno is believed to be equipped with a single-engine transmission combination with a max power of 77 PS and a 98.5 Nm torque. Being the CNG variant, the car is likely to come with a manual transmission option only. The New Baleno CNG variant will deliver a mileage of around 30km/kg. The is likely to cost around Rs 8.4 lakh.
Nissan’s Mystery Car, launch date October 18
The carmaker has so far not revealed much about the mystery car. There is a possibility that Nissan could introduce either an EV or a hybrid vehicle. The new car may get a 63kWh and 87kWh battery pack.
Mahindra XUV300 Sportz, launch date October 7
Mahindra XUV300 Sportz will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, generating 128bhp and 230 Nm of torque. The prices of the new variant are expected to start from Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
