New Delhi: Ola Electric unveiled a new range of electric scooters in India at 2 PM today. In the new range of S1 scooters, the company has launched a new vehicle with two-tone colours. The company also reduced the price of the vehicle by Rs 15,000. One can book the S1 air at a price of Rs 999 and extra Rs 5,000 discount will also be offered amid the Diwali offer.
The company confirmed the development on October 18 via its social media accounts. The company also shared the live link to watch the launch of a brand-new product. Notably, the company launched its first scooter in the country on August 15, 2021.

Ola releases new operating system for all scooters
During the live launch event, Bhavish confirmed the new EV will come with moveOS 3 which will be a lot faster and will enhance the AI technology.
It will provide proximity mode, helping to unlock the vehicle without a key. The moveOS 3 will also carry a party mode to play the music the owner like.
The OS features Hyerpercharging which can charge the vehicle for 50 kilometres in just 15 minutes. The older S1 model owner will be delivered the new software in their vehicle by early December.
Ola also revealed that Nepal is going to be the first foreign country where the company will launch its scooter by December 2022.
New light weighted vehicle
This time ola has decided to launch two-tone colour for the new range of scooters. Scooter S1 air weighs only 99kg against the normal EV scooter of 110kg. One can book the new EV at a price of Rs 999.
Ola said that the vehicle can reach 0-40 kmph in just 4.3 seconds. In the eco mode, one can run the EV for 100 km. The vehicle, carrying a battery of 2.5kwh, can be purchased at a price of Rs 84,999. Those who book the scooter early can get it at Rs 79,999 as a part of the Diwali offer.
However, the purchase window will begin in February next year while the delivery of the vehicle will kick off in April 2023.
