Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo scheduled to launch in India on May 9; check expected, features, price and more

New Dehli: Skoda is set to launch Skoda Monte Carlo edition in the Indian market on May 9. The edition will be available in the market in a more sporty look compared to the compact SUV launched in the Indian market last year

The new car is reported to come with blacked-out exterior cosmetic enhancements and inside cosmetic updates.

Exterior updates in Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo

The Czech Republic-based company will provide new 205/55 R17 tyres with an alloy wheel design for better grip while driving on the road. The car is expected to be available in two paint shades, red and white. The grille will be coated with chrome on the surrounding.

The car carries black-colored front and rear skid plates.

 

Interior updates in Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo 

In the interior department of the car, one will get a new digital instrument cluster. The car will also get full-LED headlamps, automatic wipers, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a six-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.

On the safety front, the company will provide six airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The car will primarily compete against Kia’s Seltos X-Line.

Engine update of Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo

The Kushaq Monte Carlo will be unveiled in a 1.0-litre TSI engine, producing 115hp and 175Nm. The 1.5-liter TSI engine will produce 150hp and 250Nm.

The car will be available in both, the manual and automatic gearbox options. The price of the Kushaq Monte Carlo is expected to come between the price range of Rs 10-15 lakh.
