Crypto update: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Shiba Inu fall; only Solana climbs

New Delhi: The global cryptocurrency market capitalisation was recorded above $2 trillion on Wednesday. It was down 3.0% to reach $2.07 trillion in the last 24 hours, as per the CoinGecko.

The prices for Bitcoin fell by over 1.3% to reach around $43,400 in the last 24 hours. Ethereum also saw a decline of  0.4% and was trading at $3,100.

However, the good sign of the market is that Bitcoin and Ethereum have climbed by 13.09% and 12.09%, respectively, in the past 7 days.

In rupee terms, Bitcoin fell by 1.18% and was trading at about Rs 34,15,350. On the other hand, Ethereum reached Rs 2,44,533 with a rise of 0.35%.

The trading volume of total cryptocurrency was recorded in the past 24 hours at $182 Billion. The dominance of Bitcoin and Ethereum was registered at 39.7% and at 17.8%, respectively. The data of the company covers 12,496 cryptocurrencies.

Binance Coin (BNB) fell by 2.09% to reach at $2.23 in the past 24 hours, followed by Cardano (ADA) 2.09% at $2.23, , Polkadot (DOT) 1.36% at $33.21, XRP (XRP) 0.87% at $1.06,

The price for Dogecoin fell by more than 1.06% to $12.30 while Shiba Inu tanked by 3.99% to $0.0024.

On the other hand, Salona (SOL) climbed by 1.39% to reach $156.89 in the last 24 hours.

Tether, a famous coin for its stability, was under intensifying regulatory. The company is connected to the US dollar and has a complete cash-backing for each of its issuances.

So far in 2021, the company has released 48 billion Tether, asking for a $1 each.
