Cryptocurrency prices today: Ethereum logs downfall of over 2%

The total market capitalisation of the global cryptocurrency has declined 1.71% throughout the previous day to $2.13 trillion.

New Delhi: The cryptocurrency market was a mixed bag today, with different digital currencies registering spike & downfall. Ethereum fell over 2% on Saturday.

During day time, Ethereum was trading above $3,400 i.e over Rs 2.5 lakh. Ether has shown a large monthly surge of 35.7% in August 2021 and has gained 379% this year.

Ether, the coin under Ethereum blockchain declined marginally to $3,573.8. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has shown an increase of 0.90% in the trading market. In August this year, Bitcoin increased over 18%, with over 65% this year.

In last 24 hours, the prices of Polkadot and Dogecoin increased by 4.66% and 2.14% respectively.

According to the data provided by CoinMarketCap, the total market capitalisation of the global cryptocurrency has declined 1.71% throughout the previous day to $2.13 trillion.

A report by digital asset data provider CryptoCompare showed that Binance Holdings Ltd, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange operator witnessed increase of 65% trading volumes on its platform on monthly basis in August 2021.
