India sees highest single-day toll with 2,812 deaths and 3,52,991 new COVID19 cases in 24 hrs

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 27,93,21,177 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to April 24. Of these, 14,02,367 were tested yesterday.

New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry on Monday said that India reported 3,52,991 new COVID19 cases, 2812 deaths and 2,19,272 discharges in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 28,13,658 active COVID-19 cases in the country, said the official data of the ministry.

As many as 1,43,04,382 recoveries have been reported so far, out of which 2,19,272were reported in the last 24 hours.
