Actor Armaan Kohli booked for assaulting live-in partner Neeru Randhawa

Mumbai: Former Bigg Boss contestant and Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli has been booked for physically assaulting his girlfriend and live-in partner Neeru Randhawa, a fashion stylist by profession.

A case has been registered against the Bollywood actor at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station.

Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli bookedThe victim has been hospitalised in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. According to police, the 46-year-old has been accused by his live-in partner of beating her up after an argument broke out between the two.

A case has been registered under sections 323, 326, 504 and 506.

Fight over financial issues

Actor Armaan Kohli charged with assaultReports suggest that the couple had a fight during the weekend over financial issues. In a fit of anger, the actor pushed Randhawa from the stairs. The woman has also alleged that Kohli grabbed her hair and hit her head against the floor.

“Ms Randhawa has said she and Mr Kohli had a fight over financial issues on Sunday, and that he pushed her down a flight of stairs. She said he hit her, grabbed her hair and hit her head against the floor,” senior police inspector Shantanu Pawar told The Hindu.

Duo were living-in together since 2015

Actor Armaan Kohli bookedThe two have been in a live-in relationship since 2015. They met through a common friend and soon started dating.

Son of filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli, Armaan has worked in several Bollywood films and has also been a part of Salman Khan’s TV show Big Boss.
