New Delhi: According to reports, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush is expected to gross close to Rs 100 crore in India on its first day. Adipurush, which was released on June 16, brings the Ramayan story to the big screen. While the movie received mixed reviews, early estimates indicate that Adipurush will gross Rs 95 crore on its first day in India alone.
According to trade expert Ramesh Bala, Adipurush has a day one box office collection of Rs 40 crore. He tweeted, “#Adipurush Hindi early estimates for Day 1 are a massive 40 Crs Nett.. All-India.” If the film earns Rs 40 crore on its first day, it will surpass Brahmastra, which grossed Rs 36 crore in India.

However, it will fall short of beating movies like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which earned Rs 57 crore in India, and the Hindi version of Yash’s KGF 2, which earned Rs 54 crore.
According to DNA India, Sacnilk.com estimates that the Prabhas-starrer could earn Rs 95 crore at the box office on Day 1 across all languages. According to the research, Adipurush’s largest collection came from the Telugu market. According to reports, Adipurush might earn Rs 58.5 crore from the Telugu version alone.
Meanwhile, according to Boxofficeindia.com, Adipurush’s budget could be close to Rs 150 crore. “The final overseas numbers are still to come,” the report said, “but the film has a 140 crore worldwide day one and this number can rise to 150 crore when all collections are tallied on Saturday.”
