New Delhi: Adipurush, starring Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Prabhas, is much awaited not only in India but throughout the world. The film, directed by Om Raut, is almost ready for distribution. The much-anticipated mythological drama’s trailer is slated to be released on May 9, almost seven months after the film’s teaser, which attracted widespread criticism.

Audiences had high hopes for the trailer after the teaser disappointed them worldwide. Poor VFX quality and portrayal of legendary characters were heavily criticized. Fans are anticipating remedial actions in terms of the trailer’s VFX. It remains to be seen whether the trailer will fare better than the teaser. Adipurush is a Ramayana-inspired film starring Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravan.

Prabhas just revealed the trailer release date on his Twitter account. “On May 9, 2023, witness the magnificent trailer of Adipurush!” #AdipurushTrailer will be released on May 9th.”Thank you, Shri Ram.” Take a look at this:

According to reports, a special screening of the trailer would be staged in Hyderabad before its internet release on May 9, just for Prabhas fans. The teaser is said to be three minutes long and will immerse viewers in the enthralling realm of the Ramayana.

The film will be released on June 16th. The team, led by Bhushan Kumar, previously claimed that not just the Indian diaspora, but the entire globe, will see the majesty of Indian history and culture. The film will have its world premiere on June 13th during the Tribeca Film Festival, which runs from June 7th to June 18th. This implies that Adipurush will get its international premiere before it is released in India.

In discussing this incredible achievement, Prabhas stated that he feels ‘honoured’ by Adipurush’s World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and added, “It’s a true honour to be a part of an endeavour that reflects the ethos of our nation.” To watch our Indian films, particularly one near to my heart, Adipurush, reach a worldwide audience makes me tremendously pleased, not just as an actor but also as an Indian. I’m excited to see how the Tribeca audience reacts.”
