New Delhi: After receiving a resounding response to her streaming series “Aranyak,” Bollywood legend Raveena Tandon, who ruled the industry in the 1990s and was recently given the Padma Shri, the nation’s fourth-highest civilian honor, is gearing up to appear in yet another OTT production.
Raveena Tandon will be the star of a new web series, Disney+ Hotstar revealed on Saturday. The streaming service revealed in a press statement that viewers would get to see Raveena in a brand-new role in the upcoming Hotstar Special.
The show has given Raveena, who recently received the Padma Shri award, the opportunity to restart her acting career. The actor, 48, is overjoyed to be a part of the Disney+ Hotstar team. She is aware that this show will carry a special place in my heart since she has always valued the chance to develop and adapt to each new role she has played. In a formal statement, Raveena, who made her screen debut in the Netflix original series Aranyak, announced the news.
Gaurav Banerjee, the chief of content at Disney Star, expressed his enthusiasm for working with Raveena. The Disney Star family of channels includes HSM Entertainment Network and Disney+ Hotstar. Raveena Tandon is and has always been a superstar in the Indian cinema industry, according to Banerjee, and soon Disney+ Hotstar and the actress will work their magic on the viewer’s screens.
The streaming service hasn’t yet revealed the title of the show or any of the other cast members. Reportedly, the program is an adaptation of the American drama-thriller Revenge. Patna Shukla and Gudchadhi, two of her future films, both feature Raveena and Sanjay Dutt.
