New Delhi: The renowned actress Sridevi died five years ago on February 24th. Her daughter Janhvi Kapoor took to social media ahead of time to send the sad statement. The Mili actress posted a throwback photo with her mother from an occasion. In the photograph, a young Janhvi looks in amazement at Sridevi. “I still look for you everywhere mumma, still do everything I do hoping I’m making you proud. Everywhere I go, and everything I do- it starts and ends with you,” she ended it up with a heart emoji.
Janhvi’s industry supporters and friends flocked to the comment thread to console her. “She’s always there for you!” commented one person. “We all miss you, Shridevi ma’am,” said another.
Boney Kapoor, Sridevi’s producer-husband, and Khushi Kapoor, her younger daughter, also mourned the renowned actress. “You left us 5 years back …… your love and memories will keep us going and will remain with us forever….,” Boney said with a photo of his late wife.
In the meantime, Khushi Kapoor posted a snapshot of Sridevi loving her.
Sridevi died on February 24, 2018, in a Dubai hotel after drowning in the bathtub by accident. She came there to greet star Sonam Kapoor’s cousin Mohit Marwah, along with Boney and Khushi Kapoor. Janhvi was unable to attend the event. She died barely a few months prior to Janhvi’s Bollywood debut, Dhadak.
Whilst, Janhvi Kapoor was most recently seen in the survival thriller Mili. She will then be featured opposite Varun Dhawan in Bawaal, which is set to be released in April. Jana Gana Mana, starring Vijay Devarakonda, is also in the works for the actress. Apart from that, Janhvi worked with Rajkummar Rao for the second time on the movie Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
