The film is a real life story of the legendary singer Ámar Singh Chamkila’ who was shot dead by unknown assailants. Also Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra played the role of his onscreen wife Amarjot Kaur. The film was released on April 12 on the OTT platform Netflix.
