Amitabh Bachchan condoles the demise of Rakesh Kumar

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to late filmmaker and director Rakesh Kumar. Taking to his blog actor recalled memories of Rakesh.

Amitabh said that Rakesh was one of the kindest filmmakers and directors and he used to love shooting days as Rakesh used to entertain the crew and it was hard for Bachchan to skip even a single day of shooting.

Amitabh continued by saying it would be hard to attend Rakesh’s funeral for him and he will prefer not going to his funeral as he wouldn’t be able to see him in that condition.

Amitabh Bachchan further said that Rakesh Kumar was full of innovative ideas. The filmmaker breathed his last on 10th November. The prayer ceremony will be held today (November 13) the prayer ceremony of late director will be held in Andheri, Mumbai.

Rakesh Kumar was suffering from cancer. Veteran filmmaker-director Rakesh Kumar breathed his last at 81.

He is known for some of his prominent movies including Khoon Pasina, Do Aur Do Paanch, Mr. Natwarlal, and Yaarana. Rakesh Kumar gave some spectacular movies to Indian cinemas including Dil Tujhko Diya, Commander, and Kaun Jeeta Kaun Haara.

Actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan were part of his movies.
