Plot
When Simon first arrives in the university town of Lund, his heart is full of anticipation. He believes this marks the beginning of something extraordinary—a chapter where he will finally break free from the confines of routine and mediocrity. Enrolling in law school, he expects challenge, meaning, and direction. But reality quickly disappoints him. The lectures are sterile, the students distant, and the rigid system leaves him uninspired. His dream of transformation begins to wither, replaced by a creeping sense of disillusionment.
Everything changes during a chaotic street protest, when Simon finds himself swept into a throng of chanting demonstrators and police sirens. There, amidst the noise and confusion, he meets Max—a fiery, unpredictable young woman with anarchist ideals and an intoxicating presence. She’s bold, magnetic, and lives as though nothing can touch her. To Simon, she is the spark he’s been craving.
Drawn into Max’s whirlwind world, Simon abandons his predictable life for a taste of rebellion, spontaneity, and freedom. With her, days bleed into nights filled with excess, deception, and adrenaline, and the rules he once respected become blurry. Max introduces him to a life of passionate risk-taking—one that seduces him entirely.
But as Simon is pulled deeper into her chaotic orbit, the consequences of their recklessness begin to mount. What once felt thrilling becomes dangerous, and the cracks beneath the surface start to widen. Lies unravel, truths come crashing down, and Simon is left trying to make sense of the damage. By the time he realizes just how far he’s fallen—and what he’s lost—it may already be too late to claw his way back.
