New Delhi: Khosla Ka Ghosla, a comedy movie directed by Dibakar Banerjee, is a must-watch for any avid cinema-goer. The film, featuring Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma in lead roles, was produced by Savita Raj Hiremath. This cult classic narrates the story of a middle-class man’s struggle to outsmart a property dealer and reclaim his land from a fraudulent scheme. Excitingly, the movie is now being remade in three different Indian languages.

Khosla Ka Ghosla remake

The highly acclaimed movie, Khosla Ka Ghosla, has received a great response from both critics and audiences. Now, there’s exciting news that it will be remade in Telugu, Marathi, and Kannada languages. The information was revealed at the Busan International Film Festival, as reported by Variety. In an interview with the magazine, producer Savita Raj Hiremath explained the significance of the remake. She stated that owning a home is a lifelong dream for most Indians, and property fraud is a prevalent issue that affects many. Therefore, the remakes of Khosla Ka Ghosla will not only entertain but also raise awareness and generate revenue through their creative adaptations.

Adarsh Eshwarappa, the director of the Kannada version of the film, expressed his thoughts on the remake. He mentioned that Khosla Ka Ghosla! has a dedicated fanbase and believes that such remarkable movies should be available to the current generation. The remake provides a chance to reach a wider audience by offering the film in their own regional language, customized to their cultural preferences. This adaptation aims to preserve the movie’s legacy and connect with a diverse range of viewers.

Vinod Anantoju, the director of the Telugu version, believes that the movie’s themes are relevant and relatable to people across the country, even in present times. He personally connects with the story, as it reminds him of his own father and characters resembling people he knows in real life. Vinod aims to retain this relatability in his version and is confident that the Telugu audience will embrace the film.

Similarly, Kedar Shinde, the director of the Marathi remake, states that the film will maintain its relatability to viewers. He emphasizes that the problems depicted in the movie are still prevalent today and will continue to be in the future, as human nature and thought processes remain unchanged. Despite the passage of time, the story will remain closely relatable to the audience.
