New Delhi: Attorney General KK Venugopal on Thursday gave consent for initiating criminal contempt against stand up comedian Kunal Kamra, for his alleged derogatory tweets against a Supreme Court judge.
According to the reports, in his consent letter, the attorney general said that Kamra’s tweets were “highly objectionable” and it “constitutes criminal contempt of court”.
