BTS member Jin undergoes finger injury & surgery, fans wish speedy recovery

New Delhi: BTS member Jin has undergone surgery after getting injured on his ‘left index finger’, the group’s agency Big Hit Music informed today.

The Big Hit Music took to the fan community forum Weverse and informed that Jim underwent surgery on Friday after his finger tendons got ‘partially damaged’ and was subsequently discharged the next day. The BTS member has been advised to wear a cast for some days.

“Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities and visited the emergency room at a hospital nearby for examination and treatment on Friday, March 18. He consulted doctors and was told he required surgery as the tendons in the finger had been partially damaged,” said the statement.

The news comes as a shocking development for the fans because it comes just weeks ahead of BTS’ Las Vegas concert, scheduled for April. Jin’s finger injury comes just months after he contracted Coronavirus.

The BTS members recently mesmerized the audience with their BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul concert. With another event planned in April, the members including RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V & Jungkook are gearing up for concerts in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on April 8, 9, 15 and 16. They are also set to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards. They have been nominated under the category – Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Butter.

As the news spread about finger injury, his wide base of fans took to Twitter to wish speedy recovery. Fans & his well-wishers poured in their wishes and greetings. Within minutes, the hashtag #GetWellSoonJin started trending on Twitter.
