Plot
In a bleak and desolate future where civilization has crumbled and society barely clings to survival, the world is now a sprawling wasteland of rusted ruins and forgotten technology. Though stripped of wealth and order, the remaining population finds resilience in resourcefulness—salvaging pieces of a long-lost era to build lives amidst the decay. Among them is Gear, a determined young man working in a cluttered junk shop tucked away in one of the few settlements still breathing.
But Gear’s life is far from ordinary. When he’s not sorting through scraps or haggling over broken tech, he moonlights as a retriever of stolen goods—a job that’s as dangerous as it is necessary. He doesn’t work alone. His unpredictable partner, Qu-0213, is a highly advanced robot harboring four distinct personalities, each with its own quirks, abilities, and opinions. Completing the trio is White Bear, a sharp-witted gambler with a shady past and a talent for getting out of (and into) trouble.
Their lives take a dramatic turn when Gear is offered a mysterious, once-in-a-lifetime heist—a mission to steal a highly coveted object believed to be locked away in one of the last remaining strongholds of power. Tempted by the reward and driven by curiosity, the team sets out, unaware of the storm that awaits them.
Soon, they find themselves pursued by deadly assassins, entangled in pulse-pounding high-speed chases, and locked in explosive, high-stakes battles that push them to the brink. But the physical dangers pale in comparison to the truth they begin to uncover.
