Class OTT Release: The upcoming crime drama series is all set to stream on Netflix. However, the makers are yet to announce the official date of the show. The series was released on Netflix in February 2023.
The series also explores a range of social issues that affect modern youth, including casteism, child neglect, corruption, homophobia, religious discrimination, and income inequality. The series starkly contrasts the lives of the ultra-rich and the working class.
The series was renewed for a second season in March 2023 after it topped the streaming charts of Netflix India.
Plot
The Netflix Hindi series “Class” is an adaptation of the popular Spanish show “Elite.” It delves into themes of class divide, social struggles, and the complexities of teenage life. The series delves into how wealth and influence can corrupt individuals and systems.
The series follows the lives of three youths who are admitted to one of Delhi’s elite schools. However, things take a dramatic turn when they explore new challenges and encounter weird and difficult situations. The students who come from poor backgrounds initially face many difficulties while trying to adjust themselves to the area’s top schools.
On the other hand, the cops are also trying to solve the murder mystery of the girl who was found dead inside the school campus. The streaming platform shared the teaser of the series. It begins with a guy entering a class and introducing himself to the students.
The voice-over in the background describes the school the students and the fancy life they live there.
Meanwhile, the cops recover the body of a female and begin an investigation. The Police questioned every student in the class. The trailer also shows a lot of violence and physical fighting between the students.
