New Delhi: After the success of season 1, Netflix India has announced a season 2 for the web series ‘Class’. The show was released on February 3 and was well received by the audience. Netflix India took to Twitter and shared the news about the upcoming semester in the new season of ‘Class’.
The show revolves around three scholarship students joining the Hampton International academy where they are surrounded by elite and privileged classmates. The web series show a conflict arising due to difference in class and things get chaotic when a dead body is found on campus.

Making the announcement, Netflix shared a video clip with a fun montage of moments from season 1. The montage is created in such a way that the characters are shown getting the news of season 2 and they share their excitement for it.
‘Class’ stars an ensemble cast of Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Chayan Chopra, Ayesha Kanga, Cwaayal Singh, Chintan Rachchh, Madhyama Segal, Naina Bhan, Moses Koul, Zeyn Shaw and Piyush Khati. The web series is helmed by showrunner Ashim Ahluwalia and is produced by Bodhitree Multimedia Limited, in association with Future East.
‘Class’ is an Indian adaptation of the Spanish show ‘Elite’ which has spanned over six seasons and is awaiting its seventh season to be released soon. ‘Elite’ has been one of the most successful shows on the OTT platform and ‘Class’ is trying to replicate the same for the Indian masses.
The show is written by Rajesh Devraj, Raghav Kakkar, Kersi Khambatta, Bhaskar Hazarika and Kashyap Kapoor.
