New Delhi: Newly wed Comedian couple Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale have been booked for violation of Covid norms during their wedding at a resort in Phagwara on April 26.
They have been booked under Disaster Management Act and under section 188 of IPC for violating the official orders.
The FIR mentions that from the media clip of the ceremony showing a large gathering and the Punjab government has allowed only 10 participants at such functions.
Mishra hails from Jalandhar, while Bhosale belongs to Maharashtra and the resort where the marriage function was held is located on Phagwara – Jalandhar National Highway.
Both had shot into fame in “The Kapil Sharma Show”, though they had later left it. They are now settled in Mumbai.
