This came after Deepika was trolled for posting throwback pictures from her Oscar appearance ahead of the Met Gala, where Alia Bhatt was set to make her debut.

Netizens were quick to call her “insecure” and “jealous,” and accused Deepika of trying to take away the limelight from Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra.
However, fans defended Deepika Padukone saying that the two aren’t correlated and the actress is allowed to post whatever, whenever she wants.
