Disney+ Hotstar New Releases in July 2022: Latest web series, TV shows and Movies to Premiere (Trailers)

New Delhi: With rains slashing different parts of India, it is difficult to step outside, except it is absolutely necessary. Apart from reading, binge-watching has emerged to be a common habit, especially among millennials. Thus, it is absolutely necessary to remain updated with the upcoming releases coming on different OTTs.

With that, Disney+Hotstar will run you through different shows and movies throughout this month. You will be able to witness different genres namely action, drama, and mystery amongst others. 

New Movies, web series arriving from July 15 – 30:

1. A Very Boy Band Holiday

In this special show by Disney+Hotstar, your favourite members from different boy bands come together to sing holiday songs. The performers include Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, Bobby Brown, Michael Bivins, Joey McIntyre, Erik-Michael Estrada and Nick Lachey.

The show will start streaming on July 20.

2. Parampara (Season 2)

Telugu crime show Parampara is back with its second season. The story follows Gopi, a third-generation boy of the powerful Naidu family, who holds grudge against Naidu for taking his dad’s position. The show stars Naveen Chandra, Jagapathi Babu and many other Telugu stars.

Season 2 of the show will stream from July 21 onwards.

3. Ghar Waapsi

The series follows Shekhar, who is out of work, and in the course of the series, his life changes forever when he moves back to his hometown and finds a road to self-discovery. The show stars Akaknksha Thakur, Saad Bilgrami and Vishal Vashishtha.

The show will release on July 22.

4. Good Luck Jerry

The plot of the film follows an innocent girl, played by Janhavi Kapoor, who gets pulled into the notorious world of cocaine smuggling. The film is the official remake of the Tamil movie ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’.

The film will release on July 29.

5. Big Mouth

Big Mouth is a Korean mystery drama about an unsuccessful lawyer who gets involved in a murder case and is somehow fingered as genius swindler Big Mouse. The series stars Lee Jong-Suk, Im Yoon-ah and Kwak Dong-yeon.

The series will start streaming from July 29 onwards.

New Movies, web series arriving from July 1 – 15:

1. Koffee With Karan (Season 7)

Karan Johar is back with his show Koffee With Karan. The iconic celeb-talk show is returning after a gap of four years with KJo as the host. The show started on November 19, 2004, on Star World and since then has been a massive hit. 

The show started streaming on July 7.

2. Vikram

The made a theatrical release on June 3 and was a massive hit, crossing the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. The movie revolves around members of a Black Ops team who must track and eliminate a gang of masked murderers. Kamal Hasan plays the lead role in the movie.

The movie will make its OTT debut on July 8.

3. The Wonderful Summer of Mickey Mouse

This season will show Micky Mouse and his friends recalling the wild events leading up to the Annual Summer Fireworks Spectacular. The voice cast of the series includes Chris Diamantopoulos, Kaitlyn Robrock, Bill Farmer, Tony Anselmo, and Tress MacNeille.

The series will premiere on July 8.

4. What we do in the Shadows (Season 4)

The vampire comedy is back with its fourth season with certain surprises up its sleeves to keep its viewers hooked. The last season ended with a cliff-hanger urging the viewers for more content. The series is based on the film of the same title by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The series is set in the spooky Staten Island, New York. 

The series will be released on July 13.

5. Everything’s Trash

The comedy series showcases the messy as well as amazing life of Phoebe, a podcast star. However, with her brother becoming a leading politician, she’s forced to grow up. She thus turns to her family and friend to help her figure out adulthood. 

The series will be streaming from July 14.

6. Shoorveer 

The series shows the journey of the creation of an elite task force in India, undergoing specialised training to become the country’s first responder team against national threats. The casts include Makarand Deshpande, Manish Chaudhari, Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Arif Zakaria, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta, and Shivya Pathani.

The series will stream from July 15.
