The first half of ‘Drishyam,’ directed by the late Nishikant Kamat, is around Vijay Salgaonkar, whose uncomplicated life shatters after an unfortunate tragedy involving the members of his family and his desperate tactics to keep them out of trouble with the law. The movie was a big hit, thanks to applause-worthy performances from Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Kamlesh Sawant.

“I’m excited that the ‘Drishyam’ franchise is being made in Korean, a first for a Hindi film,” said producer Kumar Mangat Pathak. This will not only broaden its appeal outside of India but will also put Hindi cinema on the international map. We’ve been inspired by Korean cinema for years, and now they’ve found a muse in one of our films. What could be a greater accomplishment for the Indian film industry?”
Jay Choi is also excited about the cooperation. “We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to recreate a massively successful Hindi film with a touch of uniqueness from Korean cinema,” he said.
