Plot
Violet, a widowed mother who has not ventured into the dating world for many years, finally decides to take a brave step and agrees to go on a date. She arrives at an elegant, upscale restaurant—an environment that feels both exciting and intimidating after such a long hiatus. To her initial relief, her date, Henry, exceeds her expectations. He is not only charming and well-mannered but also handsome in a way that sparks a glimmer of hope in Violet’s cautious heart. Their conversation flows smoothly at first, and a tentative connection begins to form, offering Violet a rare moment of joy and normalcy.
However, as the evening progresses, the atmosphere between them shifts unsettlingly. Violet’s initial comfort begins to dissolve into discomfort when she starts receiving strange, anonymous messages on her phone. These mysterious “drops” are cryptic and increasingly disturbing, each one chipping away at the warmth she felt earlier. What began as mere irritation soon escalates into a creeping terror as Violet realizes these messages are not random—they seem designed to unnerve her, to invade her sense of safety in the midst of what should have been a hopeful new beginning.
The tension thickens as Violet tries to maintain composure in front of Henry, who remains oblivious to the growing storm in her mind. The date that started with promise becomes a psychological minefield, forcing Violet to confront fears and suspicions she thought she had long buried. The anonymous drops transform the evening into a harrowing experience, turning a simple night out into a battle for control, security, and trust in a world that suddenly feels much more threatening.
