Born on 25th April 1987, Arijit Singh’s family came from Lahore during partition. His father was a Sikh and mother was a Bengali Hindu. He began his music training at an early stage. Arijit’s maternal grandmother used to sing and his maternal aunt was trained in Indian Classical music. He always had an inclination towards music since childhood.
