1. Laal Singh Chaddha
One of the most-awaited movies, Laal Singh Chaddha will make a theatrical release on August 11. Featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, the movie is directed by Advait Chandan. This is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie Forest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.
2. Raksha Bandhan
Akshay Kumar-starrer Raksha Bandhan will make a clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. Helmed by Aanand L. Rai, the movie will narrate the special bond between a brother and his sisters. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar. It will make a theatrical release on August 11.
3. Liger
With this movie, Vijay Deverakonda will make his Bollywood debut. The film also stars Ananya Panday in the female lead. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie is slated to release on August 25.
4. Dobaaraa
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is a mystery drama starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. It is the remake of the 2018 Spanish movie Mirage. The movie is scheduled to make a theatrical release on August 5.
5. Match of Life
The movie is based on the life of a cricketer who resembles Virat Kohli. The movie features Rajpal Yadav Sharma and Sudha Chandran. The movie is helmed by Manoj Giri and is slated to release on August 5.
