Gadar 2 Twitter Review: โ€˜Tara Singhโ€™ gets thunderous response, โ€˜Hindustan Zinadabadโ€™ chant in theatres

New Delhi: Twenty-two years after the premiere of the blockbuster film Gadar, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are going to reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena in Gadar 2. With Deol returning to provide memorable dialogues, the picture is already in the field to please audiences across the board.

Gadar 2 is now available in the theatres as of August 11th. The excited crowd leaving the theatre after seeing Gadar 2 has begun making the proper celebratory sounds.

Gadar 2: Ek Prem Katha is the follow-up to the popular film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. In the 2001 film, Tara Singh, travelled to Pakistan to retrieve Sakina after the tragic events of 1947โ€™s partition of India. Set in 1971, 17 years after the events of the previous film, Tara Singh must once again go to Pakistan to save his son, Jeetay.

The Anil Sharma-directed picture Gadar 2 opens at the same time as OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi. But given the filmโ€™s success with audiences, Gadar 2 is certain to do well at the box office. Tickets for the filmโ€™s first day on national cinema chains had already sold 1,41,500.

Everyone has been dying to find out what will happen to Sakeena and Tara ever since the first motion poster was released. Early evaluations for the first day-first performance have begun. The fans seem to have already embraced the picture.

Social media is flooded with positive responses about Tara and Sakeenaโ€™s roles, while some fans are criticising Utkarshโ€™s performance as Jeetay.

Criticizing Utkarsh one fan wrote, โ€œHeavily Backdated movie with the 90s feel, Action,Emotion,Performances all out of limits 1*ย  This movie is a joke. An Absolute joke. Launching of #UtkarshSharma failed once again.

Sunny Deolโ€™s scenes are very less,the visuals are terrible. dialogues are good #Gadar2 #Gadar2Reviewโ€

But appreciating the overall movie, one user wrote on his Twitter account, โ€œ#Gadar2 reviews are fantastic ๐Ÿ˜ Lots of paid media is trying to bring it down, but no one can deny the voice of the public, at the end the public is the king, watch the movie yourself and then judge. And from the reviews it looks like the movie is a blockbuster๐Ÿ’ฅโ€
