New Delhi: An OTT debut proved to be a tough fight for Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘Gali Guleiyan’, but despite a long wait, the psychological drama has finally marked its presence online. The movie not only earned praise on global platforms but also took audiences by storm post its screening four years back.
The actor took to his social media handle on Sunday and expressed how his character in the movie has been the most challenging one, saying that he was so much on the verge of losing his ‘mental stability’ while preparing for it, that he had to take a break to cope. He said that while shooting the film has been difficult, it also turned out to be rewarding for him.
The film has won not just lauds but also multiple awards at various film festivals, though I wanted the movie to roll out in India as well, and it has been a long fight to make it happen, he wrote.
Bajpayee shared the news that the movie has finally made it to its digital release while congratulating the writer, director & producer of the film, Dipesh Jain along with the cast and crew of the film.
The movie is currently streaming on OTT giant Amazon Prime Video, and is a must watch for those who are fond of psychological thrillers.
