New Delhi: After its successful theatrical premiere on May 5, 2023, Disney+ Hotstar will begin showing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on August 2. The third and final film in James Gunn’s Guardians trilogy will be available to stream on Hotstar. James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy has managed to make a lasting effect on moviegoers.
In terms of worldwide box office earnings, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was second only to The Super Mario Bros. Movie with around $840 million.

Plot

Peter Quill, a reckless explorer of space, becomes the target of relentless bounty hunters when he absconds with an orb that a powerful villain called Ronan desperately needs. Since James Gunn’s dismissal as writer and director, Marvel Studios has allegedly delayed and potentially abandoned Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. After much criticism, the new co-head of DC Studios was brought back on board, and it’s easy to see why Marvel was eager to extend an olive branch to the director. Peter and the Guardians may have been the focus of the previous two ‘Guardians’ films, but ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is about everyone’s quest to find their own unique identity and place in the world.
