Hadinelentu OTT Release Date: Acclaimed movie director Prithvi Konanur has treated fans with three hard-hitting movies, all of which received praise from movie critics.
Nevertheless, despite one of Prithvi’s movies clinching the prestigious Silver Lotus Award, the director’s exceptional work only reached a handful of audiences with two of his films getting the bare minimum shown in the theaters.
Additionally, just like the theaters’ owners, major OTT streamers also rejected to feature Prithvi’s films on their platform citing one or the other reason. One of those films was Hadinelentu which premiered on 20 November 2022 at the 53rd International Film Festival of India, garnering an overwhelming response from the film critics.
However, despite Prithvi’s best efforts, he failed to convince any digital platform to buy his social commentary digital rights for a year.
Now, finally taking the matter into his own hands, the director, as a final resort, has decided to roll out the film for the audiences by dropping it on his YouTube page this Independence Day.
Thus, On August 15, 2024, Hadienelentu will start streaming on Prithvi’s YouTube channel, allowing the masses to watch it for free right from the comfort of their homes.
Plot of the Film
Starring young actors like Sherlyn Bhosale and Neeraj Mathew, Hadinelentu tells the tale of two students Deepa and Hari who not only indulge in sexual activity with one another but also decide to record the same in a camera to watch it later.
However, soon enough, all hell breaks loose when the duo’s private video somehow goes viral on the internet and soon becomes a hot topic of discussion amongst their relatives, friends & fellow college students.
This obviously brings a lot of trouble for the kids with their college authorities taking strict action against them for their immoral acts. What happens next? Who gets what punishment? And how did the aftermath of the entire situation change the lives of the teenagers forever? Watch the movie to know the answers.
Cast and Production
In its cast, Hadinelentu sees Sherlyn Bhosale and Neeraj Mathew as the leading pair while also featuring Nagendra, Rekha Kudligi, Gunjalamma, Lakshmi Narayana, and Ravi Hebbar in other pivotal roles.
Prithvi Konanur in collaboration with Anupama Hegde has written the film which is produced under the banner of Konanur Productions.
