New Delhi: Veteran actor Chiranjeevi is a known face of Indian Cinema and today the actor turns a year older. The actor has given many hit films in different languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Chiranjeevi his debut in 1978 with the Telugu film Punadhirallu. Chiranjivee has been conferred with the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, which is considered the top film honor of Andhra Pradesh, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award. He was also awarded Padma Bhusan in 2006.

Vijetha
Vijetha features Chiranjeevi and JV Somayajulu in the lead role. The film was produced by Allu Aravind and is helmed by A Kodandaram Reddy in 1985. The film was the remake of the 1981 Bengali film Shaeb which was also remade in Hindi starring Anil Kapoor. Chiranjeevi received Filmfare best actor award for this film.
Indra
Indra was the highest grossing Telugu film of 2002. It stars Chiranjeevi, Sonali Bendre and Arti Agarwal in the key role while Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi and Shivaji were in the supporting role. The film received many awards including Nandi award and Filmfare award and Chiranjeevi himself won both Nandi and Filmfare Award.
Rudraveena
The film was helmed by K Balachander and features Chiranjeevi and Shobana in the key role . The received many good reviews from the viewers and got three National Awards for best feature film, best Music Direction and Best Male Playback Singer. It became popular due to its music album.
Shankar Dada M.B.B.S.
The film was a comedy drama released in 2003. It was the remake of Hindi film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. It features Chiranjeevi , Sonali Bendre, Girish Karnad and Paresh Rawal in the key role. The film was helmed by Jyanth C Paranjee.
Recently, Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar has been released featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Kirthy Suresh in the lead role.
