Plot
Over the course of seven surreal and disorienting days, a nameless village—untethered to any known map, era, or reality—begins to unravel from existence. At first, the changes are subtle: a familiar road vanishes overnight, a well runs inexplicably dry, and the sky seems to pulse with colors no eye has seen before. Time bends and stretches in strange ways—sunrises blur into sunsets with no clear distinction, and the villagers find themselves unable to remember what day it is or how long they’ve been awake.
The people, once bound by routine and tradition, begin to behave erratically, overtaken by visions, whispers in the wind, and ghostly figures that flit between trees. Children speak in tongues they’ve never learned. The elderly weep without understanding why. Even the animals grow restless, some fleeing, others standing deathly still for hours. Doors lock themselves. Fires refuse to burn. Crops rot in the soil overnight.
Each day strips away another layer of reality—structures collapse into dust, memories warp and contradict, and loved ones vanish mid-sentence as if they never existed at all. By the seventh day, even the concept of the village feels like a fading dream. Its name is forgotten, its people consumed by a slow, hallucinatory unraveling. In the end, nothing remains but the silence of where it once might have been—an echo of a place that no longer exists, if it ever truly did.
