Haryana is 6th state to ban Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmaavat

Chandigarh: Haryana Government has banned Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmaavat. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has communicated this decision through his tweet today.

The decision was taken in a Haryana Cabinet meeting.

This makes Haryana the sixth state to ban the film, after Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.

Bhansali’s film has become controversial for several months now and many BJP ruled states have banned it following objections by Rajput community.
