New Delhi: Shah Rukh’s magnum opus Jawan is just a couple of days away from its grand release and its maker Atlee is already making headlines for the same.
Thanks to Jawan’s soaring buzz amongst the fans, the popular director is trending all over social media and netizens are curious to know more and more about him.
Atlee is a well-known name in the southern film industry who is celebrated for his direction in a number of iconic hits including Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal and Bigil.
Atlee’s staggering fee
If reports are to be believed, Atlee usually charges a hefty sum of ₹ 52 crore for each film he directors. However, for directing Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly awaited film Jawan, the filmmaker surprisingly reduced his fee and only took a remuneration of ₹ 30 crore. What made the director make the decision to lower his fee is not yet clear and is a matter of speculation.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan was recently spotted offering his prayers in Andhra Pradesh’s Shri Venkateswara Swamy Mandir. Previously, the Pathan actor also paid a visit to Jammu’s Vaishno Devi temple where he prayed for the success of his upcoming movie.
In a recently emerged video of Shah Rukh’s Vaishno Devi temple visit, Shah Rukh was seen inside the Vaishno Devi temple sporting a blue hoodie with a face mask that he probably put up in order to keep his identity hidden from the public.
