New Delhi: Aaliya Siddiqui levelled several allegations against her husband and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and things have not been smooth for their relationship lately. In the latest interview, she talked about the divorce situation between the couple and how their children are happy in Dubai. She said that she has filed for divorce but before that, they will sit and resolve their issues.
Talking to ETimes, Aaliya said that her kids are happy and are in Dubai as the court agreed with Nawaz on the point that their studies should not suffer. She informed that the court has put a condition on the actor to take care of things in Dubai and ensure that the children do not face problems. She said that living in Dubai is not easy but Nawaz has ‘solved all the issues’.
On their current status, Aaliya said that she is going for a divorce but the court has instructed them to sit together to resolve their issues and they will also look to settle things out of the court. She said that currently Nawaz is travelling so they will look out to meeting soon and he has solved some problems between them.
In another interview with News18, she talked about casting Nawazuddin in ‘Holy Cow’, a film produced by her. She said that they needed Nawaz to play the part of a cop and he knew that. She said that they did not want star faces but actors who could deliver strong performances, so they brought Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Bhatt, Sadiya Siddiqui and Tigmanshu Dhulia on board. The film was released in theatres in August 2022 and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Aaliya and Nawazuddin were engaged in posing allegations at each other publically. The actor filed a defamation case against Aaliya while she filed for a divorce and the custody of their kids.
