New Delhi: Cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty tied the knot in a private wedding on January 23. Athiya Shetty took on her Instagram handle to share some adorable pictures from her wedding. Rahul wore a light-shade sherwani while Athiya styled a matching lehenga. Sharing the pictures, the actor also wrote a heartfelt note in the caption.

Athiya wrote that they got married in the presence of their loved ones and in a home that marked joy for the couple. She also seeks the blessings of her loved ones and her fans to begin her new journey.

The couple, who is known to be dating for four years, finally tied the knot in Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. Though people from the film fraternity were present at the wedding, the cricketers, who are busy with the India-New Zealand series, were not able to make it.
Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty was the one who broke the news of the completion of the wedding ceremonies as he greeted the paparazzi outside the farmhouse with sweets.
Fashion photographer Manav Manglani also shared some stunning pictures of the wedding as the couple posed with smiles on their faces.
