New Delhi: The jury of 53rd International Film Festival in Goa slammed the controversial movie “The Kashmir Files”, a film based on exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 from Kashmir Valley.

Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid, who headed the IFFI jury called the film “propaganda” and a “vulgar movie”

Last week, the film was featured in the “Panorama” section starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi. The film was directed by Vivek Agnihotri.

“The Kashmir Files” was praised and declared tax-free in most BJP-ruled states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi,  Union home minister Amit Shah and several other leaders praised the movie.
