Kushi Box Office Collection Day 3: Vijay Deverkonda’s film mints Rs 11 crore, makes total collection of Rs 36 crore

New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverkonda starrer Kushi released on Friday is doing well at the box office. The film minted a decent amount in its opening weekend and has earned a net estimate of Rs 36 crores in all the languages in its first week in theatres as per the reports. Kushi was originally a Telugu film dubbed in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

On Sunday the film earned Rs 11 crore in India including all the languages. The film had opened at Rs 15.25 crore on Friday, with a collection of 14.7 crore among Telugu audiences and 55 Lakh among Tamil audiences respectively. On Saturday, Kushi saw a 35.08 percent decline, making the net of 9.9 crore in all the languages; the Telugu language made 9.25 crore while the Tamil version collected Rs 65 lakh. The film has a net of 36.15 crore in all languages as per Sacnilk.com.

About the Film


Kushi got released on September 1 and garned mixed reviews from the audience. In the film Vijay essayed the role of Viplav whereas Samantha as Aradhya who get married against the wish of their parents and soon faces relationship problems along with insecurities, jealousy and other issues.

Kushi is a romantic comedy, helmed by Shiva Nirvana. It also features Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pnvannan and Murali Sharma in supporting cast. Produced by Mythri Movie makers, it the second collaboration of Samantha and Vijay Deverkonda. The film was officially announced in April 2022 and tentatively named  as VD11 as it was Vijay Deverkonda’s 11th film as a lead. The tiltle of the film was announced in May while the shooting was started from April only and wrapped up in July 2023. The filming was halted for sometime as Samantha was diagnosed with myositis.
