Plot

Leanne (played by Leanne Morgan) never expected her life to unravel at this stage. After 33 years of marriage, her world is rocked when her husband suddenly walks out. He ends up leaving her for another woman. The life she had so carefully built, full of routine, shared memories, and quiet predictability, is torn apart overnight. Thrust into the unfamiliar world of singlehood and heartbreak, Leanne is left to pick up the pieces. She has to figure out who she is without the identity she’s carried for decades.

Thankfully, she’s not alone. At the heart of her support system stands her fiercely loyal and endlessly outspoken sister, Carol (Kristen Johnston). She wastes no time sweeping in with tough love, wine, and an unapologetically bold attitude.

With Carol by her side—and a family that rallies around her in both ridiculous and tender ways. Therefore, Leanne begins to rebuild her life, one chaotic moment at a time.

As she navigates awkward first dates, emotional meltdowns in grocery store aisles, and the challenge of rediscovering herself in a world that’s moved on, Leanne slowly learns that starting over doesn’t mean giving up. It means growing into someone new. Amid the madness, she finds unexpected joys, newfound confidence, and plenty of moments that prove laughter really is the best medicine.

What begins as a story of heartbreak transforms into one of resilience, self-discovery, and the unshakable bond between sisters.
